Debrecen, Szeged and Pécs are university and provincial deliveries with easier access than central Budapest — usually a single-van delivery.

Post-Brexit UK personal effects require a full Hungarian customs declaration. New Hungarian residents can claim ToR relief (Költözési Kedvezmény) and import used household goods VAT and duty free, provided items have been owned for at least 6 months and the move happens within 12 months of establishing residence.

You'll need a Lakcímkártya (address card) and a Hungarian tax number (Adóazonosító jel). We prepare the customs paperwork through our Budapest agent so the vehicle clears without delay.
