A lot of our furniture work is moving inherited or auction-bought items between family homes pieces that are old, fragile and irreplaceable. We use museum-grade wrapping for these, padded crates where needed and four-person lifts for marble tops, glass-fronted bookcases and grand chests.

Where items are particularly valuable, we'll talk through bespoke packing options before move day and confirm insurance values in writing.

Beds, wardrobes, dining tables, divans and modular sofas are usually easier to move once disassembled. We handle that at collection, label the parts and reassemble them at delivery as standard, included in the quote.

We don't leave the new room with parts on the floor for you to figure out we put it where it belongs and confirm it sits and opens correctly before we leave.
