UK to Greece Removals

We deliver into the major Greece cities every month: Athens, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Rhodes, Crete (Heraklion), Kos. Rural and inland addresses are handled via our destination agent's shuttle network.

Indicative pricing for a UK to Greece move: £2,200 (shared part-load) up to £7,800+ (dedicated 4-bed to Athens or the islands). Every quote is fixed in writing after a survey no day-of surprises.

Athens deliveries are typically apartment moves in Kolonaki, Glyfada, Kifissia or the southern suburbs — parking is tight and building lifts are small. Thessaloniki is easier but still urban apartment territory.

Island deliveries (Corfu, Crete, Rhodes, Kos, Paros, Naxos) add a Greek inter-island ferry leg. We book vehicle-plus-freight on the appropriate scheduled ferry and confirm the destination island's road access — small hillside villages sometimes need a shuttle from the ferry port.

Greek Transfer of Residence relief requires a Greek AFM (tax number) and proof of Greek residency. The application is filed with the local Greek customs office through our Athens destination agent. Items must have been owned for at least 6 months and moved within 12 months of taking up Greek residency.

Non-resident second-home owners can still import household goods to a Greek property but VAT and duty are typically payable — we brief on both scenarios during the survey.

Many Greece relocations involve a gap between leaving the UK property and the container or van loading. We run secure, insured short and long-term storage at our Crowmarsh Gifford depot useful when you have completed your UK sale but the Greece property isn't ready yet.

Storage is invoiced monthly and can be combined with the export packing and Greece shipment under a single coordinator and single quote.
