Probate clearance is fundamentally different to a general house clearance. The executor has legal duties to the estate and the beneficiaries. Items of potential value must be identified before disposal. Paperwork (Will, deeds, bank statements, correspondence) must be preserved. And the family is almost always grieving, which shapes the pace of everything.

Dimond Movers LTD runs probate clearance as a dedicated service line, separate from general house clearance. Written inventory before disposal, formal paperwork for the estate file, licensed waste transfer notes and a senior coordinator as your single point of contact.

Before any item leaves the property, our crew runs a structured walk-through looking for: jewellery, watches, gold, silver, coins, banknotes; antique furniture, art, prints, sculpture and clocks; collectibles (stamps, vinyl, militaria, ceramics, cameras); legal documents (Will, deeds, share certificates, premium bonds); financial paperwork (bank statements, savings books, pension correspondence); personal photographs, letters and family memorabilia.

Anything potentially valuable is photographed, listed and shown to the executor for a decision before clearance begins.

Many probate clearances are managed by executors who live elsewhere. We're set up to be the local on-the-ground contact: video survey, written quote, paperwork by email, on-the-day photographs of progress, and a final report when the clearance is complete.

Solicitor invoicing, VAT receipts and chain-of-custody documentation are all part of the standard service useful when the executor needs to evidence what was found, kept or disposed of.

Probate clearance is, more than anything, about how it feels for the family. Our crews are trained to work quietly, communicate clearly and slow down when the family needs a moment. Unmarked or low-profile vehicles are available on request.
