Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck — apartment moves with Halteverbot
Vienna's inner districts (1010, 1040, 1090) and Salzburg Altstadt are dense apartment moves. Like Germany, a temporary no-stopping permit (Halteverbot / Halteverbotsschild) is usually required — we apply through the local Magistrat with 7-14 days' lead time.
Innsbruck and Kitzbühel moves are frequently seasonal — pre-ski-season loading into rental chalets and end-of-season repatriation runs are a specialist niche where combining with our Alpine schedule saves money.
Austrian Übersiedlungsgut — same idea as Germany, different form
The Austrian equivalent of German ToR is Übersiedlungsgut declared on form ZA 250. Requirements mirror the German rules: 6 months' prior ownership and 12 months' UK residence beforehand. You will need your Meldezettel (address registration) before customs will finalise the relief.
We prepare and submit ZA 250 as part of the move and coordinate with the destination customs post at the border or inland Zollamt.
