Rome and Milan are dense apartment moves with restricted vehicle access, usually requiring a permesso (city centre access permit) and a shuttle. Florence's ZTL (zona traffico limitato) needs special permits we arrange in advance.

Italian customs require a formal declaration on UK household goods. New Italian residents can apply for Trasferimento di Residenza relief, exempting used personal effects from VAT and duty.

You'll need a Codice Fiscale (Italian tax number) and an Italian residency certificate (certificato di residenza) issued by your comune. The paperwork must reach Italian customs before the vehicle arrives — we handle the submission.
