Greece is a longer European move — we route through France, Italy and take the Adriatic ferry (typically Ancona-Patras) into western Greece, then onward by road to Athens, Thessaloniki or via inter-island ferry to Corfu, Crete, Rhodes and the Aegean islands. Since Brexit, personal effects entering the UK from Greece need a formal customs declaration. Returning UK residents and new UK arrivals can claim UK Transfer of Residence (ToR1) relief and import used household goods VAT- and duty-free, provided items have been owned and used abroad for at least 6 months and the move happens within 12 months of establishing UK residency.

We prepare the ToR1 application, the C3 / C5 customs declaration and the inventory in English (and the local language where required) so nothing stalls at Dover, Folkestone or Killingholme.

Cardiff Council parking suspensions take 10 working days; we handle the paperwork. We arrange the Cardiff parking permit and lift booking before the vehicle leaves Athens so the unload runs to the same tight schedule as our domestic UK moves.
