Returning UK residents and new UK arrivals can claim UK Transfer of Residence (ToR1) relief and import used household goods VAT- and duty-free, provided items have been owned and used abroad for at least 6 months and the move happens within 12 months of establishing UK residency.

We prepare the ToR1 application, the C3 / C5 customs declaration and the inventory in English (and the local language where required) so nothing stalls at Dover, Folkestone or Killingholme.

Bristol RPZ (Residents' Parking Zone) suspensions take 10 working days; we lodge the application when the move is booked. We arrange the Bristol parking permit and lift booking before the vehicle leaves Ljubljana so the unload runs to the same tight schedule as our domestic UK moves.
